This June 3rd and 4th, Clifton Springs, New York celebrates its Sulfur Springs
Festival. The beautiful town of Clifton Springs, with its charming victorian
homes, is well known for its odiferous stream running through downtown.
August is the month of festivals in this section of the Finger Lakes. Phelps has the Sauerkraut Festival during the first weekend in August, Clifton celebrates Victorian Days and the Sulfur Festival during the second weekend and Geneva celebrates the Whale Watch Festival during the third weekend of the month.
The
Yorkshire Inn is located just 10 minutes East of downtown Clifton Springs.
Come and stay in a quiet colonial inn surrounded by woods and farms.
While The Yorkshire Inn was built
in 1796, our accomodations include 21st century conveniences tastefully
incorporated into colonial decor.
We understand that many potential bed and breakfast travelers are uncomfortable with the idea of sharing a bath. Each of our guest suites feature large, private baths with over-sized showers.
Satellite
television brings you news from around the globe.
High Speed wireless internet connections help you stay in contact. Our router can communicate with your 802.11b or 11g notebook computer. With dual access points you can connect from anywhere in the inn - including the back deck. If your laptop isn't wireless ready, the Rose Room has a 10/100 Mbps data port next to the desk or simply sign out our spare PCMCIA 11g card for the duration of your stay.
The
Blue Room sleeps 2 in its lovely queen sized brass bed. The Rose Room sleeps
2 in its queen sized sleigh bed. Are you traveling as a family? The Rose
Room has an additional bedroom (featuring 4 twin sized beds) that you can
opt to add on bringing the suite's total sleeping capacity to 6. There is
no need for siblings to share a bed.
