This view taken along County Road 23 near Lester Road shows that fall color has only just touched most of the trees.

From a distance you will only see green with just a few individual trees beginning to turn.

We did find the start of some nice color along Route 21 as you enter into Canandaigua.

 

Along County Road 6 (Preemption) near Route 96 some of the corn has already been harvested and the stalks gathered for silage. Other fields, obviously planted later, are only now ripening.

It has been a wonderful year for area corn. The crop has been plentiful and good tasting.
