Week 5
(September 28 - October 4)
Estimated Color 25-30%
This
week has been cold, wet and windy. Thursday (October 3rd) was one of the
nicest days of the week. This shot is of the corn fields along the East
side of 488 near Orleans.
We
took a walk through the woods behind the inn and caught these Sumac trees
turning red.
On
our walk we found many trees and plants just popping with fall color.
We
cleared the woods and came out to the rail road track. As we walked back
to the house a friend was waiting for us along the tracks. This picture
was taken from quite a distance since, as we began to get closer all we
saw was a white tail bobbing off into the woods.
