finger lakes bed breakfast The Yorkshire Inn

The Yorkshire Inn Bed and Breakfast sign in Phelps

Welcome to our home. It was originally built in (approximately) 1796 and it has had a long and fascinating career. We have lovingly restored the inn to a colonial feel - keeping and upgrading all of the modern conveniences while maintaining a charm that points back two centuries.

But why does the sign says that The Yorkshire Inn was established in 1819? We have discovered evidence that 1819 was the year it was converted from a farm house to a stage coach stop. The owners literally "popped the top" adding a 3rd floor and 4 guest rooms. We won't make you stay on the third floor though. Both of our guest suites are on the first floor - no stairs to climb.
