Welcome to our home. It was originally built in (approximately) 1796 and it has had a long and fascinating career. We have lovingly restored the inn to a colonial feel - keeping and upgrading all of the modern conveniences while maintaining a charm that points back two centuries.
But why does the sign says that The Yorkshire Inn was established in 1819? We have discovered evidence that 1819 was the year it was converted from a farm house to a stage coach stop. The owners literally "popped the top" adding a 3rd floor and 4 guest rooms. We won't make you stay on the third floor though. Both of our guest suites are on the first floor - no stairs to climb.
As you enter the inn, please take time to sign our guest book.
Our spacious
entry hall leads to the living room and dining room to the right or head
straight back (past the stairs) to your guest room.
Click here to turn to the right and view the living room and dining room. These rooms are available for your relaxation any time of the day.
Or continue down
the page to the entrance to your guest rooms.
Our two guest rooms await. Would you like to tour the:
Rose Room
or the
Blue Room?
